Hard Skate Guards

These always have a habit of going missing, so it's always good to have an extra set. There's a huge assortment of colors, ones that light up and ones that change color according to temperature. Available at Professional Skate

Soft Guards/Soakers

Similar to hard guards, soakers also frequenlty break and go missing and there is a huge variety you can choose from. If you are good at sewing, you could even make a pair to give to your favorite skater. Available at Professional Skate

Spinners

While these may not up a skater's spinning game, they definietely don't hurt and young skaters and non skaters will get a kick out of being able to spin in their houses. Available at Professional Skate.

Zuca Bags

These are the must have bags for young figure skaters. They're great for carrying skates and kids can also sit on them if they can't find a seat on the bench. The fabric part and the shell are sold separately so you can come up with 100s of combos or just update part of the bag. Available at Professional Skate or at zuca.com. Used ones also go on Kijiji frequently.

Foam Rollers

Foam rollers are now the must haves for all athletes. With figure skaters trying to build flexibility and strength while remaining inury free, they are particularly important. Available at any fitness stores and Wal-MArt, Superstore and Canadian Tire.

Heated Insoles

Figure skates are cold. Combine that with Calgary's cold winters and figure skaters feet are constantly freezing. Maybe warm feet are the key to warming a heart too.

S'well Water bottle

S'well water bottles are insulated so they are able to keep liquids cold for 24 hours and, more importantly for the winter and the rink they can keep liquids hot for 12 hours. They are also the most stylish and trendy water bottle on the market now. Found at Chapters, Nordstroms and The Bay.

Clothing

For kids anything from Triple Flip or Iviva.

For adults anything from Lululemon or Nordstrom's line of athletic apparel.
